Martha Rosita Parrish Yaw, 77, of Sparta, passed away Nov. 12, 2024, at NHC Healthcare of Sparta.
Martha was born Oct. 17, 1947, in Sparta, to Zollie Mark and Lettie Mae Mabe Parrish.
She was a former oil refinery secretary, in Texas. She enjoyed listening to music and writing poetry.
Funeral service was 1 p.m., Nov. 15, 2024, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
