Mary Ann Broyles Brock, 79, of Sparta, passed away March 20, 2023, at her home.
She was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother who was always there when we needed her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was a faithful Christian and a member of the Taft Church of Christ.
Mary Ann was born June 19, 1943, to Mark Broyles and Irene Rascoe Broyles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Paul Brock, and her granddaughter, Olivia Rose McCoy.
She was one of nine children and was preceded in death by Lois Elese Broyles, Rascoe Broyles, Ed Broyles, Joe Broyles, Dale Lowery, Charles Broyles, Harold Broyles, and Lenard Broyles.
She is survived by her children, Annette McCoy (Marty), of Murfreesboro, Mark Brock, of Sparta; grandchildren, Josh Brock, Tayler DiGiovanniello, Keaton McCoy, Karter McCoy; sisters-in-law, Martha Vance, Sue Broyles, Shelby Broyles; and several nieces and nephews and their children.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., March 25, 2023, at Thurman Funeral Home, with burial in Anderson Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., March 24, and noon-2 p.m., March 25, at the funeral home.
