Mary Ann Riddle, born Aug. 18, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away peacefully, on May 27, 2025, at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

A dedicated office manager in the medical field, she spent many years working for Dr. Carolyn M. Parrish, where her commitment and compassion made a lasting impact on those with whom she worked.

Mary Ann was a proud graduate of Lake Hughes Senior High School, in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Her professional accomplishments were matched by her warm and engaging personality, which endeared her to family and friends alike. A member of Heavenly Host Lutheran, she found strength and community in her faith, guiding her throughout her life.

Beyond her professional life, Mary Ann had a multitude of hobbies that brought her joy. She loved to read, knit, and tend to her flower beds. Additionally, she enjoyed canning and freezing vegetables, showcasing her dedication to family and nurturing. Music played an important role in her life, as she cherished playing the piano.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Ewald and Loretta Faye Hansen Krentz; her brother, Leonard James Krentz; and her nephew, Jeff Krentz.

Mary Ann is survived by her loving husband, Audry Gene Riddle, of Cookeville. She leaves behind her son, David (Donna) Riddle, of Gallatin, and her daughter, Susan (Norman) Riddle O'Pry, of Cookeville. The joy of her life, her grandchildren, Amy Forsythe (T.J.) Whittaker, Emily Forsythe (Avery) McGinness, Kyle (Allison) Riddle, Chad Riddle, and Eric Riddle, will carry on her legacy, as will her great-grandchildren, Haley, Wyatt, Owen, Knox, Lexi, Harper, Maverick, Cooper, and Riley. She is also remembered by several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and inurnment will be held at Shipley Cemetery at a later date.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Mary Ann Riddle will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and the love she imparted to everyone around her.
