Mary Dorothy Officer, 78, of Sparta, passed away Sept. 11, 2021, at her residence.
Ms. Officer was born Aug. 20, 1943, in Sparta, to Beecher Howard Officer Sr. and Dorothy Sally Gardenhire Officer.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Sept. 16, 2021, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Davis Cemetery. The family will receive friends 11 a.m.-1 p.m., Sept. 16, at the funeral home.
