Mattie Patricia Parks, 70, departed from this life to her eternal home, on Sept. 11, 2024.
Mattie was born Aug. 19, 1954, to Hill Goodson and Jessie Mae Teeples Goodson (Marshall).
In addition to her parents, Mattie was preceded in death by her brothers, Albert Goodson, Robert Leon Goodson, and Fred Leon Goodson.
Mattie is survived by two daughters, Patricia Ann McDaniel, of Sparta, Christie Reashell Mills, of California; one son, Brian Keith Tindell and wife Candace, of Sparta; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one sister, Helen Lack; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service of remembrance for Mattie will be 3:30 p.m., Oct. 27, 2024, at the home of Brent Tolbert.
