Millard Nation, of the Vine Community, passed away Apr. 24, 2025, at his home at the blessed age of 88 years.
Millard was born March 24, 1937, in Livingston, to Clay and Austie Sells Nation.
He married the love of his life, Jewell Nation, on Aug. 13, 1959, and together they raised five sons. Their love and dedication to each other was an inspiration to everyone.
He retired from Precision Rubber, in 1999, after 30 years and worked for his son at Teak World for several years. He enjoyed the simple things in life - he liked being at home, raising a small garden, watching the birds at his feeders, a good home cooked meal and smoking a cigar. He loved his family and was so proud of them.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Nation, in 2023; his son, Tommy Nation, in 2025; a grandson, Bobby Nation; and siblings, Eugene Nation, Bill Nation, Betty Sue Harris, Florida Seibers, and Chester Nation.
Millard is survived by his sons, Glen (Judy) Nation, Gary (Candy) Nation, Tony (Tammy) Nation, Jackie (Rhonda) Nation; daughter-in-law, Robin Nation; grandchildren, Randall (Kendra) Nation, Ashley Nation, Justin Nation, Nick Nation, Craig Williamson, Thomas (Clacey) Nation, Nikki Williamson, Jacob Williamson, Cody Nation, Miles Nation; great grandchildren, Sara Nation, Ali Nation, Tyler Nation, Marco Hanna, Noah Hanna, Sarah Hanna, Jaxon Nation; great-great-grandchildren, Mya Carter, Brantley Main; and sister, Jewell Smith and her Furbaby Abby.
Funeral service was 4 p.m., April 27, 2025, at Hunter Funeral Home, in Watertown, with burial in Barrett Cemetery. Bro. Ronnie Wayne Taylor officiated.
His grandsons, Justin Nation, Thomas Nation, Nick Nation, Randall Nation, Jacob Williamson, and Craig Williamson served as pallbearers.
Hunter Funeral Home, in Watertown, was in charge of arrangements.
