Millicent Bobett Mace Brown Ashburn better known as Millie, age 63, of Sparta, passed away Feb. 24, 2025, at her residence.
Millie was born Aug. 21, 1961, in Sparta, to Johnny Henry and Beulah Dimple Dillon Mace.
She was a former factory and construction worker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Betty, Nancy, Lucy, Doris, Herbert, and Mickey.
Survivors include her husband of eight years, Tim Ashburn; daughter, Christy Gail Watson; grandchildren, Samuel (Cassidy) Lance, Matthew (Jaylon) Lance; great-grandchildren, Colten Lance, Jaylen Lance; and siblings, Lennie Montgomery, Wilma Thrower, Ricky Mace, and Lee Roy Mace
Hunter Funeral Home has been entrusted with Millie’s cremation, and the family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
