Minute with the Mayor

The Sparta Rotary Christmas Parade is scheduled to start at 4 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 14, beginning at White County High School. The parade will turn right on Polk Street, then left onto Hampton Drive. The parade will turn left onto Bockman Way and continue across town to Liberty Square.

After the parade, the tree lighting will take place on the square.  There will be many activities for families to enjoy and take part in.  Justin Demps will be holding a Christmas concert at the amphitheater on the square.

The tree lighting is scheduled for 6 p.m.  Please make your plans to view the parade and then join us on the square to kick off the Christmas season.
