Opal Elaine Stewart, 57, passed away Sept. 2, 2020, at Saint Thomas Highlands Medical Center, in Sparta.
Mrs. Stewart was born Feb. 2, 1963, in Cookeville, to Robert Nash and Barbara Hutson Nash.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Michael Stewart; and granddaughter, Jamie Michele Stewart.
She is survived by her husband, Wade Stewart, of Doyle, TN; sons, Chris Nash, of Doyle, Frankie (Ashley) Stewart, of Sparta; daughter, Amber (Reed) Zile, of Sparta; seven grandchildren; brothers, Bobby (Sandra) Nash, of Sparta, Robert Nash, of Sparta; sisters, JoAnn (David) Standridge, of Sparta, Audrey (Roger) Willis, of Brush Creek; numerous nieces and nephews; aunt, Lennie (J.L.) Phillips, of Cookeville; and several cousins and close friends
Graveside service will be 4 p.m., Sept. 4, 2020, at Saylors Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to assist with funeral expenses.
Thurman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
