Pierre Rony Dachoute, 43, of Sparta, passed away Jan. 9, 2024, in Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Pierre was born Oct. 5, 1981, in Port au Prince, Haiti, to Jean Joseph Dachoute and Sulvenique Dachoute-Viel.
Pierre immigrated to the United States, in 1996, and worked diligently to become a citizen. Pierre devoted many years of his life to the service of his country. After four years in the United States Army, he served eight years in the United States Army Reserves. While in the Army Reserves, Pierre completed a degree in computer science. Pierre enjoyed working in technology and going on mission trips to work as an interpreter.
In addition to his father, he was preceded by his brother, Maleb Dachoute.
Pierre is survived by three daughters, Bella Marie, Hannah Jolee, and Makayla Caroline Dachoute, of Sparta, Tennessee; his mother, Sulvenique Dachoute-Viel; his sister, Stephanie Dachoute-Elas (Ted); his brothers, Nephthali, Evans, David, Michael; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Feb. 2, 2024, at Nashville National Cemetery, 1420 Gallatin Pike S., in Madison, Tennessee, with military honors by the Veterans' Honor Guard. Interment will follow.
