Raymond Lee Burris, Jr., 65, of Sparta, passed from this life, on Dec. 2, 2023, at his home.
Raymond was born Feb. 18, 1958, in Columbus, Ohio, the son of Raymond Burris and Ella Mae Potter Burris.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Raymond is survived by his wife, Martha Longoria Ortega, of Sparta; son, Shaun Short (Tina), of Ohio; son, Andy Burris, of Sparta; sister, Georgia Jacobs, of Tucson, Arizona; granddaughter, Braylan Short, of Ohio; father, Raymond Burris Sr., of Sparta; and other family members and friends.
No services are planned at this time.
