Ronald Wayne Taylor was born on Aug. 15, 1949, and passed from this life, on July 4, 2023, at Erlanger Hospital, surrounded by his family.
His favorite job was being a truck driver. Ronald had driven for many miles. He also had some factory experience and worked on a dairy farm when he was younger. He loved his family.
Ronald was a veteran of the U.S. Army
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Rado “Pappy” Taylor and Tillie Mae Jones Taylor; his wife of more than 40 years, Glenda Sue Taylor; his brothers, Johnny Ray, Roy, Robert, Doug, Donnie, Riley Gene; his sisters, Mary Ellen Young, Dorothy Reece, Estelle Miller, Ollie Davis; two sons, Jonnie Taylor, Matthew Taylor; and stepmother, Mary Ballew Taylor.
He is survived by his sons, Ronnie (Mary) Taylor, Shannon Lafferty; daughter, Kathy (Carl) Presley; grandchildren, Brandi Taylor, Jessica Taylor, Kimberly Taylor, David R (Davin) Taylor, Candy Presley, James
Presley, Lori Schwab; great-grandchildren, Kayden Wilson, Karlie Wilson, Madison Davis, David W. Taylor, Jaylin Judd, Jasmine Judd, Abigail Presley, Hannah Blocker; and brother, Bobby Gibbs.
Funeral service was 2 p.m., July 9, 2023, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Lower Board Valley Cemetery. Ronnie Taylor officiated.
