Ronnie Paul Daniels, 72, of Sparta, passed away July 11, 2025, at NHC Healthcare of Sparta.
Ronnie was born Jan. 13, 1953, in Sparta, to Alford B. and Elsie Elizabeth Lowhorn Daniels.
Ronnie was a former employee of Sparta Spoke Factory and Red Kap. Ronnie was also no stranger to farm work and always lent a helping hand hauling hay and working tobacco. As a child, his family worked on Lester Flatt’s farm, and Ronnie became a lifelong fan of the music of Flatt and Scruggs. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing basketball and always enjoyed watching sports.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lee Edris Hunter, who died Dec. 4, 2024.
Survivors include his siblings, Faye Norris, Alford Ray and Linda Daniels, George and Rose Daniels, James Daniels, Hugh and Edna Daniels, all of Sparta, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., July 23, 2025, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Plainview Cemetery, in the Cassville community. Doug Downs will officiate. The family will receive friends 11 a.m.-1 p.m., July 23, at the funeral home.
Tyler Brady, Kyle Brady, Brad Daniels, Darrin Norris, Ronald Daniels, and Troy Brown will serve as pallbearers.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
