Ronny Michael Anderson was born Nov. 11, 1944, in Sparta, to William Charles and Ida Marie Anderson. He passed away peacefully at home, with loving family at his side, on Jan. 3, 2026.
Faithfulness and service marked Ronny’s career, which began at the old Ed Knowles grocery store (Knowles Market). He then gave 29 years of service to Thomas Industries before retiring from Townsend Textron after 16 years there. Ronny also served his country with pride and patriotism. He retired from the Tennessee National Guard after 21 years of honorable service.
Ronny’s confidence in Christ Jesus anchored his faithfulness as a husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He lived his entire life as an active member of North Sparta Church of God. Ronny had a dedication to serve the church and Christ in any capacity required. As a result, Ronny lived selflessly - committed to his family and to helping any friend in need. He wholeheartedly fulfilled the words of Jesus, “good and faithful servant.”
