Ruby Mae Cunningham, 94, of Sparta, passed away July 30, 2023, at NHC HealthCare of Cookeville.
Mrs. Cunningham was born Aug. 3, 1928, in Scott County, Tennessee, the daughter of Marion Delus Newport and Ida Mae Jeffers Newport.
She worked in a factory.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cunningham was preceded in death by her first husband, Buster Propes; second husband, Bill Cunningham; and daughter, Judy Sexton.
Mrs. Cunningham is survived by a son-in-law, Carl Sexton Sr.; grandsons, Carl Eugene Sexton Jr., Michael Douglas Sexton, Timothy Wayne Sexton; granddaughter, Sherry Lee Smith; great grandchildren, Scotty Beaty, Jessica Sexton, Tim Sexton Jr.; and a great-great-grandchild, Millie Mofield.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Aug. 3, 2023, at Bilbrey Funeral Home, in Crossville, with burial in Roane Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 11 a.m-1 p. m., Aug. 3, at the funeral home.
