Sarah Ann Childress, 80, of Sparta, passed away Oct. 10, 2023, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 6, 1942 in Dunlap, the daughter of Hubert Bowman and Edna Hatfield Bowman, both of whom preceded her in death.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m., Oct. 27, 2023, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 4:30-6 p.m., Oct. 27, at the funeral home.
