Stacy Dalton Daniels, 65, passed away Aug. 27, 2024, at his residence.
Stacy was born Aug. 21, 1959, in Glasgow, Kentucky.
He was longtime owner and operator of Daniels’ Backhoe, in Sparta. Stacy had a long, successful career working with the public and was always eager to help those in need. In fact, he enjoyed paying the tab for whoever he was eating with and assisted many that had trouble paying for his services. Stacy was an antique automotive enthusiast and a regular at car shows all over the southeast. He will be fondly remembered for his gentle spirit and enthusiastic “Let’s Go!”
Stacy was preceded in death by his father, Paul Daniels; brother, Tracy Daniels; and grandparents, Ruby and Willie Branham.
Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Donna Daniels; mother, Fran Holler; sister, Paula Drummond and husband David; daughter, Jennifer Daniels; son, Stacy Joshua Daniels; stepchildren, Brandy Abbott, Josh Abbott, Billy Abbott; grandchildren, Haley Mace, Logan Mace; and step-grandchildren, LeBraun J. Hamilton, Briley Abbott, Brynlee Abbott, Lily Abbott, and Brandon Garrett.
Funeral service was 11 a.m., Aug. 31, 2024, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Burkesville Cemetery, in Burkesville, Kentucky.
Jeff Branham, Chris Branham, Josh Abbott, Billy Abbott, Chuck Bumbalough, and Tracy Daniels served as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearers were James Rice, Kenneth McCormick, Rip Stone, Tim Bumbalough, and Tom Kincaid.
Hunter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
