These are the last days

 It’s very difficult to cover all the things that have occurred since last we met here. Frankly, it’s difficult to even list them as I keep thinking of additions to the list as I write it. But let us cover a few.

President-elect Biden has already had his first failure, in case anyone is bothering to notice. I can understand why they might not; this administration might well tax our store of numbers if we started noticing and cataloging all the failures, so I promise to just number a few as we go along.

Anyway, shortly after all the unity talk from Biden came his nasty speech describing Trump supporters as “domestic terrorists.” Really? There are about 74 million Americans that voted for Trump, is this part of Biden’s “healing and unity” campaign or something else? Sadly, as long as Biden can point back to his initial call for unity, many of his supporters will go right along with him. “He tried for unity” they’ll say. And, in a liberal world, a call for unity is all that is necessary. Once you have done that, you can go ahead and divide like mad!

So, what do we know about the debacle at the capitol? Very little, sadly, but more and more is coming to light. And when I say light, I do not mean the pages of the New York Times and other affiliated lefty newspapers. No, like it or not, we are going to be getting our news from new sources. And we will need to vet them carefully because all the main sources for news are very clearly lining up behind Biden. All we will get from them is a product called Bidenews - all the news the government wants you to know.

From these various alternative news sources comes word that many Antifa and BLM folks were among the Trump supporters. Now, this is hardly news to us Trump supporters; we all know we don’t break windows and trespass. On the other hand, when offered an open door and the chance to see the “People’s House,” it would be hard to resist the opportunity. So doubtlessly some Trump supporters followed the others in. Also, a BLM connected thug was arrested and released without charges. Wonder why?

Let us consult one of the Democrats’ great resources on all things political, Franklin Delano Roosevelt.

He said, “In politics, nothing happens by accident. If it happens, you can bet it was planned that way.” Nuff said.

What of the Democrats’ condemnation of our president’s speech to the crowd before ANTIFA/BLM headed for the capitol? All he said was a list of his usual grievances. You may listen to his speech or read a transcript in any of a dozen places. Nowhere did he say to break into the building and destroy property.

What have Democrat leaders said of the BLM and ANTIFA violence that has become increasingly common? Well, we know Kamala Harris was raising money from her staff and Biden’s staff to pay their bail. We know that even Barack Hussein Obama said that we should “understand” their anger. But, of course, no Democrat could “understand” the anger of this crowd. And what was it the Kamal said about violence in the streets?

Kamala said, “They’re not going to stop. They’re not going to stop,” she told him. “This is a movement, I’m telling you. They’re not gonna stop. And everyone beware because they’re not gonna stop. They’re not gonna stop before Election Day, and they’re not going to stop after Election Day. And everyone should take note of that. They’re not gonna let up, and they should not.”

So the Kamal thinks the ANTIFA and BLM riots should continue? If you want to find a good example of double good duck speak, read Snopes’ explanation of this. It is basically Kamal supports only the peaceful protestors, although it wasn’t peaceful protestors that needed bail money, now was it? Oh, I bet that explanation wouldn’t fly for President Trump. Actually, we know it wouldn’t. But that, of course, is different!

Let me wrap up this untidy mess of an article with a news item worthy of note for all Tennesseans and a word or two from our Founding Fathers. After the politicians returned to the capitol to continue voting, guess what happened with Marsha Blackburn and our newest senator, Hagerty? They abandoned Trump and voted to accept the fraudulent vote count of Arizona and Pennsylvania and the rest. Now, if I were to tell you how I feel about that, it would be bad because this is a family newspaper. So, let me quote our founders:

Heaven knows how to put a proper price upon its goods; and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as FREEDOM should not be highly rated.”
