Thomas John Schroeder, 77, of the Lost Creek community, passed away unexpectedly, on April 5, 2025, in the emergency room, of Saint Thomas Highlands Hospital, in Sparta.
Tom, as he was affectionately known, was born Dec. 5, 1947, in Janesville, Wisconsin, to Harold and Ferne Resque Schroeder.
He was a farmer and a welder. He enjoyed working on his farm and especially taking his dogs along to check cattle.
Tom is survived by his wife, Dee Schroeder.
In honor of Tom's Wishes, Hunter Funeral Home has been entrusted with his cremation, and a get-together of friends to celebrate Tom's life will be 1:30-3 p.m., April 12, 2025, at Lost Creek Church.
