Thomas Rodney Shewmake, 68, passed away May 24, 2025, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born Jan. 9, 1957, in Mobile, Alabama, to Curtis Levon Shewmake and Nelma Grace Shewmake.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Thomas Aaron Shewmake.
He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn "Jackie" Shewmake; two daughters, Candice Montecchie and Gene, Iris Meyer and Jason; daughter-in-law, Shelley Shewmake; five grandchildren; brothers, Ronald Shewmake and Julie, Keith Shewmake and Cathie, Tim Shewmake and Cathy; and numerous, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m., May 31, 20925, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, at 2221 Crossville Highway, in Sparta.
Thurman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
