Timothy Collin Luna, affectionately known as Timmy or Smiley, 47, of Sparta, passed away Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, at his residence, surrounded by his family.
Timmy was born Jan. 22, 1977, in Sparta, to Wilburn Collin Luna and Betty Jo O’Dell Luna.
He was a longtime employee of Federal Mogul, in Smithville, where he was a machine operator. He enjoyed riding the country roads and taking care of his beloved dog, Puppy. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Debra Luna McBride.
In honor of Timmy’s wishes, Hunter Funeral Home has been entrusted with his cremation. The family had a time of receiving friends at Timmy’s home, on Walker Street, 4-6 p.m., April 3, 2024.
