Tristin Wayne Matheney, 25, of Quebeck, passed away Nov. 18, 2023, at his home.
He was born May 17, 1998, in Smithville. He was the son of David Matheney and Nicole Edmonds Griffin.
He was loved and will be missed by many. His contagious laughter and smile will carry on forever.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Chase Davis.
Survivors include his mother, Nicole Michelle Griffin (Kelly), of Cookeville; father, David Wayne Matheney (Terri), of Cedar Creek; daughters, Mylayh Matheney, Aniyah Matheney; mother of this children, Mykaela Slatton; sisters, Cheyenne Matheney, Sierra Matheney, Mia Davis, Chelsey Batson, Keely Griffin, Alexis Griffin; bonus mom, Tracy Stanley; and several brothers and cousins.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
