Two departments dispatched to car fire on New Year’s Day

From Doyle Volunteer Fire Department: On Jan 1, 2024. Doyle Volunteer Fire Department and Central View Volunteer Fire Department - Walling/Quebeck/Mt. Gilead responded to a vehicle fire, on Garret Road. First arriving units found a pickup truck heavily involved, with another vehicle and a residential structure as exposures. The fire was quickly brought under control with light damage to the exposed vehicle and no damage to the structure. The original vehicle suffered severe damage. There were 19 personnel on scene from two departments.
