U.C. Habitat for Humanity receives $15,000 grant from U.S. Bank Foundation

(May 22, 2025) - Upper Cumberland Habitat for Humanity (UCHFH), a nonprofit organization that provides affordable housing in the Upper Cumberland, today announced it has received a $15,00 grant from the U.S. Bank Foundation. The grant will be used to support the Critical Repairs Program, which focuses on assisting homeowners by partnering with them to offer necessary repairs and/or projects which are vital to their ability to remain in the home.

“Creating opportunities for our community requires resources, and we appreciate the support from the U.S. Bank Foundation, which helps us continue to build and expand the innovative programs we’re proud to offer,” said Jeremy Byrd, UCHFH Executive Director.

Upper Cumberland Habitat for Humanity aims to provide strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter in the Upper Cumberland.

“Safe and stable housing helps children, families and communities thrive. Working with Upper Cumberland Habitat for Humanity to help homebuyers gain the financial knowledge and tools to own and maintain a home is an investment that will benefit generations to come,” said Jeffery Mills, community affairs manager at U.S. Bank.
