Vivian Ruth Prine, 92, of Sparta, passed away Dec. 20, 2023, at her home.
She was born March 10, 1931, in Canfield, Ohio, and was the daughter of Donald Berkey and Mae Krause Berkey.
She raised her family in Youngstown, Ohio. Vivian also shared her joy of music, teaching many students how to play the piano, organ, and accordion. She was a member of Christian Life First Assembly of God. She was very involved in her church and mission work.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Rusinka and Douglas Prine, and her son, David Rusinka.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandy Magnuson, of Sebastian, Florida; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, James Berkey; sisters, Irene Hixon, Carol Clemance; and several nieces and nephews.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
