Wanda “Grammy” Sue “Roberts” Hale, 90, of Sparta, passed away peacefully, on Feb. 7, 2025, surrounded by her loved ones at her home, in Sparta.
She was born Sept. 16, 1934, in Blue Pennant, West Virginia, to Herbert B. and Maggie Ella Roberts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Jerl T. Anderson, James C. Hale; sons, Larry Anderson, Gary Anderson; and several brothers, sisters, and nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her son, Kenneth Anderson, of Sparta; grandchildren, Kenny (Jessica) Anderson, of Sparta, Garrett (Krystal) Anderson, of Sparta, Kayla (Chris) Lekki, of McMinnville, Sean (Karena) Anderson, of Sparta; and great-grandchildren, Jenna, Alizabeth, JJ, Ella, Kolton, Daniel, Catierra, Riley, Malaki, Cali, and Rainelle.
A Celebration of Life will be Feb. 15, 2025, starting at noon until 2 p.m., at Taft Church of Christ, in Sparta.
Thurman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
