Rylee Savage is a senior at White County High School, and her attention to detail and willingness to dedicate herself to the task at hand has made her stand out among her peers.

“Rylee is a light shining bright in a dark world,” Kathryn Gateley, a foreign language teacher at White County High School, said. “She is one of the most kind-hearted students I have ever had the joy of teaching. She is trustworthy, dependable, determined, and very intelligent. I cannot wait to see where she goes and what she accomplishes in life. She is a blessing from God and a role model for all young women.”

Savage, who has plans to attend Tennessee Technological University in the fall and pursue a career in accounting, is a member of White County’s Beta Club as well as the National Society of High School Scholars – both of which are reserved for students who have achieved levels of high academic success.

In addition to succeeding in the classroom, Savage has taken her work ethic and leadership skills to the athletic fields during her time at White County High School as a member of both the Warriorette volleyball team and the school’s track and field team. In her down time, Savage uses her passion for detail to look through the lens of a camera and photograph the world around her.

While her time at White County High School is coming to an end in a few short months, Savage’s drive and determination are sure to continue to guide her throughout her future endeavors.
