William Francis Gough, 77, of Sparta, passed away Feb. 23, 2025, at home.
Born Saturday, March 22, 1947, in Loogootee, Indiana, he was the son of Elmer Gough and Bernadette Greenwell Gough.
He was a veteran of the United States military.
William is remembered for his love of all things: motorcycles, fast cars, and NASCAR. He enjoyed all sports and fishing.
William is survived by his wife, Stella Gough, of Sparta; three children; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The family is following William's wishes to be cremated. At this time, no services are planned. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
