Wilma Joyce LaFever Bray, 84, passed away April 15, 2024, at her residence.
Mrs. Bray was born Aug. 26, 1939, in White County, to Hugh LaFever and Geneva Price LaFever.
She retired from Emerson (Mallory) with 35 years of service and was a longtime member of Bethel Free Will Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Wilma was proceeded in death by sisters, Clara Helen LaFever, Opal Spivey (Albert), Loretta Griffin (Leonard); brother, Hugh Lee LaFever; and son-in-law, Daryl Hickey.
Wilma is lovingly survived by her husband, Billy Bray; daughters, Donna Hickey, Moore (Jeff); sisters, Wanda Catherine Dunn (Carl), Irene Lawson, Shirley LaFever; and brother, James LaFever (Earlene)
The Bray family would like to add a special thank you to Jennifer Mitchell for the love and care she gave during Wilma’s illness.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., April 18, 2024, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial is Saylors Cemetery. The family will receive friends 11 a.m.-1 p.m., April 18, at Hunter Funeral Home. Clayton Lee will officiate.
Jon Erik McCurry, Justin McCurry, Kyle McCurry, Dale Spivey, Lamar Redmond, and Corey Price will serve as pallbearers.
Hunter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
