Athlete of the Week: Ana Dronebarger

Rising eighth-grade soccer standout Ana Dronebarger is helping put White County soccer on the map after her travel team, All-In TN Eclipse U13, captured the Tennessee Presidents’ Cup State Championship in a remarkable postseason run hosted by the Tennessee State Soccer Association.

Dronebarger, a student-athlete at White County Middle School, played a key role throughout the tournament as All-In TN Eclipse battled through elite competition from across the state to earn the championship title. The victory secures the team a spot in the upcoming national quarterfinals, which will be held in the Washington, D.C., area later this summer.

The Presidents’ Cup, held at Murfreesboro’s Richard Siegel Soccer Complex, is one of the premier youth soccer competitions in the region, featuring top travel clubs from across Tennessee competing for the opportunity to advance to regional and national play. All-In TN Eclipse U13 rose to the challenge with a combination of disciplined defense, strong midfield play, and timely scoring throughout the tournament. Under the guidance of head coach Robyn Maxwell, the team’s relentless determination and cohesive gameplay culminated in a decisive championship victory, giving Tennessee’s representative squad immense momentum heading into the national stage. The Eclipse team was undefeated in league play.

For Dronebarger, the accomplishment marks another milestone in what has quickly become a promising young soccer career. Known for her work ethic, field awareness, and competitive drive, she has continued to develop as one of White County’s emerging soccer talents while balancing school athletics and high-level travel competition.

Winning the state championship also reflects the growing strength of youth soccer development in the Upper Cumberland region. The Eclipse team consists of players from Cumberland, Putnam, Warren, and White Counties. Competing on the national stage will allow Dronebarger and her teammates to test themselves against some of the best youth clubs in the country while representing Tennessee soccer at a high level.

The team will now turn its attention toward preparation for the national quarterfinals, where All-In TN Eclipse hopes to continue its championship run against top competition from across the United States.

As the excitement builds for nationals, White County supporters will be cheering on Ana Dronebarger and her teammates as they carry Tennessee’s Presidents’ Cup title into the next stage of competition.
