October JROTC Athlete of the Month

White County High School JROTC is proud to announce its very own Cadet Command Sergeant Major John Hawco as Athlete of the Month. He is a senior with a 3.0 GPA. He is CSM of the White County High School’s JROTC battalion. His ability to challenge fellow cadets during physical fitness has resulted in the entire battalion improving in the Cadet Challenge.

Command Sergeant Major John Hawco is the commander of the Color Guard team. As commander, John is instrumental in the training of new and old cadets on the responsibilities of presenting our Nation’s Colors.

Command Sergeant Major Hawco is not only the commander of Color Guard, but he is also on the Raider and Rifle team as well. On Raider, he has competed in 3 competitions, which helped the team bring home multiple trophies. The Rifle season is just starting, and John is a key member of the Varsity team.
