Zoey Clemons has proven that you should try new things because it can bring unforgettable memories and a new passion.
Clemons has been a part of the White County High School Warriorette flag football team since the beginning.
Clemons talked about what got her into the sport even though it was a new sport starting at White County High School. “Well, I have always liked watching football and playing two handed touch in the yard with my cousins, so I figured playing on a team would be more fun.”
In her inaugural season, she helped as a running back and a wide receiver to go 10-4 overall and 9-3 in TSSAA District 5.
Currently in the Warriorettes’ flag football season, Clemons is averaging 2.5 yards per carry and 1.7 yards per game.
During her time as a White County Warriorette, Clemons talked about her favorite memory from the past two years. “My favorite memory as a Warriorette was probably when flag football started, and I got to play with my cousin.”
Other than playing flag football, Clemons also plays for the wrestling team, where she now plays with her younger brother, Kaiden Clemons. There are no stats recorded for wrestling.
Off the field and mat, she was named 2026 Magna Cum Laude in her graduating class having a GPA average of 3.7 to 3.89.
She is a member of the Sparta Young Life Club, and she has gone on trips to Sharptop and Colorado with the club.
After graduation, Clemons talked about her plans after White County High School. “In college, I will be studying cosmetology, and afterwards, I will be doing massage therapy and reflexology.”
Clemons will take on another new adventure after high school at TCAT.
