Gary Ross Roberts, born Jan. 19, 1962, to Vivian and Nell Roberts, joined his wife, Lisa, in Heaven, on Feb. 22, 2023.
Gary graduated from White County High School, in 1981. He enjoyed farming and driving a tractor-trailer during his adult life. Gary and his wife, Lisa, owned and operated Roberts and Son Trucking for several years. He loved spending time with his family and raising a garden. Gary was a long-time member of the Church of God.
Gary continues to be loved by his children, Hannah Ashburn (husband Cody), Dylan Roberts (wife Taylor), and his cherished grandchildren, Ollie-Mae Ruth, Opal Rae, and Vance Ross.
Gary is also missed by his siblings, Nelouise Geer (husband Larry), Jerry Roberts (wife Beth), Jason Roberts (wife Melanie), and Lisa Parks (husband Lloyd). Gary’s sibling, Greg Brown, preceded him death.
Gary loved his many nieces and nephews dearly.
Pallbearers were Jonah Roberts, Riley Roberts, Elijah Roberts, Ethan Tollison, Kayne Tollison, and Matthew White.
Funeral service was 2 p.m., Feb. 25, 2023, at Black Oak Church of God, with burial in Carter Cemetery.
Thurman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
