Herman "Vic" Eller, 81, of Sparta, passed away July 17, 2024, at his residence.
Vic was born Sept. 3, 1942, in Sparta, to Herman Eller and Juanita Kirby Eller.
Vic loved his church family at Wesley's Chapel, he loved to sing, play music, and watch his Tennessee Volunteers. He loved his dog, Sadie, and his grandpups, Crush, Henry Moses, and Murphee Lee. He was a beloved daddy and husband above all else. Vic is an eight-year veteran of the Army National Guard.
Survivors include his wife of 58 years, June Price Eller; son, Mike Eller (Sheila), of Sparta; daughter, Tia Deebanks (Eric), of Sparta; grandson, Michael Eller Jr., of Sparta; sisters, Joan Howard, of Baker, Louisiana, Kay Lafever, of Franklin; and several nieces, nephews, special friends, and neighbors.
Funeral service will be 1 p.m., July 20, 2024, at Oak Lawn Funeral Home, with burial in Corinth Cemetery. Jordan Looney and Chris Reagan will officiate. The family will receive friends 11 a.m.-1 p.m., July 20, at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Stan Barker, Sonny Dailey, Micky "Flick" Phifer, Kenny Lyle, Tony Ray Young, and Greg Lafever.
Oak Lawn Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
