Johnny Demps, born on July 2, 1953, in the serene town of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away peacefully on October 2, 2026, doing what he loved. Johnny was a man of many talents, known affectionately by those who knew him as an expert handyman and a true jack of all trades. His guiding mantra, "If Johnny can't fix it, it's beyond broken," was a testament to his remarkable ability to mend not just broken things, but also to lift the spirits of those around him with his infectious positivity and unyielding laughter.
Preceded in death by his father, John Henry Demps, and sister Cathy Whiteaker. Johnny leaves behind his cherished children, Jonessa and Joey. His legacy is also carried on by his mother Betty Demps, brothers Jimmy, Justin, and Jerry, with whom he shared countless memories and adventures, along with his loving partner, Renay Dillinger.
In keeping with Johnny's wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held. However, his family wants friends and loved ones to know that a celebration of his life will be organized at a later date, where stories of his incredible life will be shared, laughter will echo, and his indomitable spirit will be celebrated. All who knew Johnny will be notified of this gathering when the time comes.
