Knights of Columbus Council 14902 from St. Andrew Catholic Church of Sparta hosted an annual Fishing Rodeo for Pacesetters of White County, on May 14, 2022, with participants from the clients, families, and staff of Pacesetters and Knights, plus their families.  Knights provided the baiting of the hooks, casting out, and reeling in the fish at Lake Paula. The meal included hamburgers and hot dogs with potato salad, macaroni salad, lettuce salad, desserts, and watermelon. Each member of Pacesetters received fishing gear and assistance in fishing in the local lake. They also received a “Knights of Columbus Certificate of Completion” for attendance at the event. The event was held at Lake Paula, on Bon Air Mountain.

The fish were biting, the weather was great, the food was good, and everyone had a great time.

Pacesetters is a private not-for-profit organization chartered in the State of Tennessee to provide services and supports to individuals with disabilities and their families.   Established in 1971, Pacesetters provides a variety of services to accomplish its mission.
