Linda M. Cunningham Lewis, age 82, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at her home in Sparta, Tennessee.
She was born on June 28, 1943, to the late John Martin Cunningham and Juanita Hensley Cunningham. Linda was a homemaker and later worked as a secretary at White County Lumber Company. Linda was a gifted quilter, loved sewing, and a great many crafts. She was blessed with a strong faith. Her greatest joy came from time spent with her family.
In addition to her parents, Linda was proceeded in death by all her siblings: Lucille Cunningham Bennett of Santa Monica, California, Julius Cunningham of Sparta, Tn, J.E.(Gene) Cunningham of Sparta, Tn, James Cunningham of Nashville, Tn, Tilly Cunningham White of Denton, Texas, Gladys Cunningham Young of Sparta, Tn, Boyd Cunningham of Walterboro, South Carolina, C.R. (Bob) Cunningham of Sparta, Tn, John A. Cunningham of Crossville, Tn, and Mary Cunningham O’Connor of Sparta, Tn. Linda was also preceded by two grandsons, Zach Cucinella and Dylan Cucinella both of Sparta.
Linda is survived by her three daughters Angie Lewis Cantrell (David) of Sparta, Tn, Sandy Lewis of Sparta, Tn, and Relva Lewis (Doug Roberts) two grandchildren, Chelsa Cantrell Burch (Jackson) of Sparta, and Chase Lewis of Sparta. Four great-grandchildren: Jack Burch, Ryder Burch, Dylaney Burch and Charlie Burch all of Sparta, Tn.
Helen Cunningham of Crossville, Tn and numerous nieces and nephews.
Brice Murphy will be officiating the service for Linda that will take place on Friday, March 6, 2026 with visitation at Oak Lawn Funeral Home beginning at 12:00PM with the service at 2:00PM burial will follow the service and be held at Mount Gilead Cemetery.
