Mallory Christian joins UT Extension White County

Hello everyone! My name is Mallory Christian, and I am the new Family & Consumer Science Agent in White County. I graduated in December from Tennessee Tech University, where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology: Merchandising & Design. During my time at Tennessee Tech, I was able to help teach sewing classes to 4-Hers and adults with Trousdale and Van Buren County Extension Offices. Once beginning my role in Extension, I served as the Family & Consumer Science Agent in Bledsoe County, where I was trained and offered classes in food preservation, Tai Chi, Matter of Balance, and Co-Parenting. In my spare time, you can find me working on my creative clothing design business or making custom pieces for friends and family. White County is home to me, and I am looking forward to serving my home county.
