At around 8:30 am on Wednesday, September 23, emergency personnel were called out to a multi-vehicle accident near 6465 Cherry Creek Road. While there were thankfully no lethal injuries, there were some major injuries that saw some taken to Cookeville hospital. The narrow road had to be closed around the curve for about an hour as the situation was handled.
