National FFA Week

On Feb. 15, 2024, several White County FFA members attended the Sparta Board of Mayor and Aldermen meeting to request Mayor Jerry Lowery sign a proclamation. It states that from Feb. 17 to Feb. 24 would be known in Sparta as National FFA Week, and it “recognizes the invaluable contributions of the White County FFA to our community and beyond.” Mayor Lowery was happy to sign this after reading off some of our chapter’s accomplishments, such as the state Gold Chapter Award and the state Gold Plow Award.
