TCAT-McMinnville has nine new White County High School seniors that have signed letters of intent to attend the school next fall. On April 3, the students took the next big step in securing their future.
Michele Chamberlain, the dual enrollment coordinator, guided the students during the signing.
“This is an exciting day for all of you,” she said. “And I hope to see each and every one of you this summer, or in the fall.”
Of the nine seniors, only six were present for the signing itself. The others have signed, or will sign, at another date. The nine seniors and their programs of study are as follows:
Chamberlain was excited to see the number of seniors pursuing the industrial electricity path. The program is a 16-month full-time program of study, where the students will learn all about the application of the National Electrical Code. Cosmetology is a 14-month full-time study that prepares the student for the State Board Cosmetology Licensing Exam. Lastly, automotive technology is also a 14-month study that provides trainees with all the tools to service and repair any vehicle.
The school was proud to see another wave of seniors continuing their education, and it marks another year for TCAT-McMinnville and White County High School’s close collaboration to secure the future of Sparta’s next generation.
