On Oct 11, 2023, Rita Sue Brown, 76, left her earthly home to be with her heavenly Father.
Sue was born March 30, 1947, in McMinnville, to M.L. Brown and Ola Mosley Brown.
Sue loved raising colts and riding in horse shows with her Tennessee Walking Horses until her health didn't allow her to care for them any longer.
Sue was an elementary school teacher, elementary basketball coach, and a furniture store owner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, James Pleasant Brown.
Surviving family include her cousins, Donald Cloyd (Rema), of Sparta, Gail Henry, of Bowling Green, Kentucky, and Eddie Hudgens, of McMinnville.
No services are planned at this time.
