Sparta Fire Department Hosts Open House

Firefighters are some of the most important, selfless members of our community. To help show what all they have and can provide, Sparta Fire Department hosted a wonderful Open House event this past Saturday, September 26. As part of the celebrations, Sparta Fire Department, as well as members from some of the other county departments who visited, offered to show off their equipment to visitors.

The kids in particular really enjoyed being able to see the inside of the fire trucks, although there was also a bouncy house that repeatedly took the young ones’ attention away. Bonding over food and the community, the Open House was busy for multiple hours as residents brought their families along to see the work of some of the county’s most important heroes.
