Northfield Elementary's after-school program recently celebrated a thrilling achievement in the Fall Young Artists Monster Madness contest. The program offered students a creative opportunity, allowing them to invent, name, and describe their very own unique monsters.
The exciting news arrived a few months ago when Ms. Teresa Holman was notified that several Northfield students' artwork had been selected for publication in the contest's official book. The students' were excited about seeing their illustrious in print.
We were excited to find out that, Dalton Hickey, a 4th-grade student, had won the "Favorite Artist" award. Dalton's monstrous creation was prominently featured on the cover of the published book! In recognition of his outstanding artistry, Dalton received a special goody bag from the contest organizers. Northfield Elementary is incredibly proud of Dalton's talent and success. We are also proud of all the other students that were published in the book.
