On Nov. 25, 2025, the White County High School Warrior Battalion JROTC program held its Cadet of the Month competition for November 2025, recognizing the top-performing cadets from each company who exemplify leadership, discipline, and dedication.
This monthly event gives cadets the opportunity to test their knowledge, military bearing, and professionalism before a panel of instructors and senior cadet leaders. Each company selects one standout cadet to represent them, making this one of the program’s most competitive honors.
For November, Cadet Sergeant First Class Dillon Hutson, a second-year cadet, and Cadet Corporal Kaden Muse, a first-year cadet, earned top honors for their outstanding performance and commitment to excellence. Both cadets demonstrated strong leadership potential, confidence, and attention to detail throughout the competition.
During the event, cadets were evaluated on uniform inspection, drill and ceremony, leadership knowledge, and understanding of Army values. Competitions like these not only recognize achievement but also help cadets build character, teamwork, and confidence—skills that extend beyond the JROTC program.
“The Cadet of the Month competition challenges our students to push themselves and represent their companies with pride,” said Senior Army Instructor 1SG Romero. “It’s a great way to see the younger cadets challenge themselves each month.”
The winners will advance to compete for Cadet of the year at the end of the school year, where they’ll face off against other monthly winners for an even higher distinction.
The White County High School JROTC continues to uphold its mission of developing leadership, citizenship, and self-discipline in its cadets while serving the community and representing White County with honor.
