The White County High School soccer team got their season underway, on March 18, and they came home from Harriman with a very decisive 5-1 victory.
White County spread the ball around on the field, with several Warriors finding the back of the net. Senior Joi Stepp kicked the ball past Harriman’s keeper twice. Junior Mason Lalonde added another two goals, while sophomore Samuel Svaighert put another point on the Warriors’ side of the scoreboard.
Next up for White County will be York Institute. The Warriors will travel to Jamestown, on March 21, before heading to Livingston, on March 25, for their first district match of the season and then will finally get their home opener, on March 27, when they host Watertown.
