WCHS Warriors off to perfect start with back-to-back wins

White County High School Warriors have kicked off their soccer season by boasting a perfect 2-0 record after two impressive victories.

In their season opener, the Warriors faced the Friendship Christian Commanders, on March 1, and their defense shone bright, leading to a hard-fought 1-0 shutout. This win was particularly sweet for the Warriors, as it served as payback for a disappointing 5-1 loss when these two teams faced off last season.

White County continued their winning streak, facing off against the Jackson County Blue Devils later in the day. The Warriors again showcased their defensive prowess, gaining another shutout with a 2-0 victory. This match also held a sense of redemption, as the Warriors had lost to Jackson County 2-1 in their last meeting.

Key contributions came from Samuel Svaighert and Bruno Sergio, who each scored their first goals of the season, helping to secure the win against the Blue Devils.
