What about angels?

 Angels have been talked about for many years, in the Bible mostly. Angels of God existed before time and the world began. Neh. 9:6, Thou art God alone, thou hast made the heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all therein and thou preservest them all, and the host of heaven worshippeth thee. The angels constitute the host that continually ascribe worship to God. Rev. 4:11, Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and glory and honor and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy name of the Lord: for he commanded and they were created. Psa. 148:5 Thus we find that angels are created beings, and they were in heaven before man was formed.

There are both good and bad angels. For angels, being free moral agents, could choose the right or wrong. And the angels that kept not their ways first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Jude 6. So, angels had the power to be righteous or evil. For if God spared not the angles that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment. The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptation, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished. 2 Peter 2:4-9. Then shall he say unto them on the left hand, depart from me, ye cursed into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels Matt 25:41. Hell is prepared for the devil and his angels, but not intended for man! For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; who will have all men to be saved, and come to the knowledge of the truth 1Tim 2:3-4. He has given His Son to save man from hell!

At the betrayal of Jesus, he said “Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than 12 legions of angels? Matt 26:53.

A legion in the Roman army was 6000 men. Dan 7:10. Thousand thousands ministered unto him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before him; the judgement was set, and the books were opened. The last figure is literally one hundred million; but surely suggest an unlimited number. We are told, But ye come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels. Heb 12:22. There is no way we could possibly number all the angels. They are innumerable; without number! Angles  were always sent from God Luke 1:19. Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you; that in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven Matt. 18:1. The angels are actively interested in us and our salvation. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. Luke 15:10. Yes, though unseen, angels minister unto Gods children. And of the angels he saith Who maketh his angel’s spirits, and his ministers unto a flame of fire Heb 1:7. Then Psa. 104:4 are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation. So, angels minister to the saints.

Luke 20:35-36. But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: neither shall they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels, and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection. Angles are created and they never die. Heb 2:6-7. What is man, that thou art mindful of him? Or the son of man, that thou visitest him? Thou madest him a little lower that the angels: thou crownedst him with glory and honor, and didst set him over the works of thy hands, 2 Peter 2:11 Whereas angles, which are greater in power and might, bring not railing accusation against them before the Lord. Though angels are above us, yet we are not to worship them. Thou shalt worship thy Lord thy God and him only. Whereas the angel would not accept worship, Satan desires such. To Jesus he said All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down, and worship me, Matt 4:9.

Acts 7:38. This is that Moses… that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spoke to him in the mount Sinai, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give to us. To this Paul said this about the law; it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator. Gal.3:19. Then, in Heb. 2:2 For if the word spoken by angels were steadfast, and every transgression received a just recompense of reward, how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation? Angels are messengers of God. Heb. 1:1 Today, man is to study the bible which was written by the Holy Ghost and take that message to the world. God wants all men to be saved. Therefore, all men can be saved if they hear the word, believe that Jesus is the son of GOD, confess that, repent of our sins, and be baptized. Then stay faithful unto death.
