WCHS boys' soccer loses close game in first district match of the season

Posted

The White County High School boys’ soccer team faced their first district opponent on Tuesday night when they traveled to Overton County to take on the Livingston Academy Wildcats.

While the Warriors had rebounded in the second half of their previous game to take a commanding 7-2 win over York Institute last week, they struggled to get the ball in the back of the net this week. Livingston wasn’t overpowering, putting just two goals on the board, but it was one more than White County could muster. Sophomore Andrew Joliff was the only Warrior who got the ball past the Wildcats’ keeper on Tuesday night.
