Yurezz in Sparta Builds Trouble

Posted

As a mountain of evidence is coming to light, the Sparta location for the Yurezz Home Center is facing some major allegations of fraud and racketeering.  The Sparta location also abruptly shut down in June 2026 due to major inventory disputes and consumer fraud investigations.  Recently, Richard Altman, co-owner of Yurezz, was arrested in Georgia in July 2026.  He and his wife, Heather Altman, are also facing a lawsuit from 21st Mortgage Corporation.  The basis of the suit is regarding inventory financing disputes.

Another company, Northpoint Commercial Finance, is also suing Yurezz for selling an estimated $5.3 million in inventory covered by a lien but failing to turn over any proceeds.  While officials in Georgia and Tennessee are sorting this matter out with criminal and civil charges, this story may be far from over.

Customers have had issues with the Yurezz company, from paying for homes and not receiving them to paying cash for homes but not being given the title to own them.  Other customers have had homes started in the building process on their land but then left to have it incomplete with no communication since this incident.  With at least 12 locations within the United States, there are estimated to be 60-200 victims of this nightmare.

Anyone who has been a victim of Yurezz Home Center is encouraged to contact the Tennessee Attorney General's office to have their voice heard and be connected to any future resolution to this situation.  They can be contacted through their website https://www.tn.gov/attorneygeneral.html or at (615) 741-3491.
